چکیده
Crop production has a correlation with the applied water in moderate semi-arid conditions. Due to temperature and rainfall changes enhancing productivity crop are needed for limited resource In this study, maize (Zea mays L.) yields measured fields during 11 years from 2005-2006 2015-2016 were compared those simulated by Agro-ecological Zone method under environment located at north west of Iran soil texture loamy-clay. Different research scenarios involving actual evapotranspirationc (ETa) potential (ETm) value (ETa/ETm= 100%, 90%, 80%, 70%, 60%, 50% 40%) different application efficiencies (Ea) 40%, 50%, 90% 100% considered present study. Research affected yield maize. To produce 10084 kg ha-1 efficiency 100, 90, 80, 70, 60, 50 irrigation requirements respectively 4683, 5203, 5854, 6690, 7805, 9366, 11708 m3 2.15, 1.94, 1.72, 1.51, 1.29, 1.08, 0.86 m-3. Results confirmed that was 1.22 1.52 m-3 an average 1.38 68%. Because ranged 3800 6971 5345 3125 4584 averaged 3836 ha-1. It is suggested could be enhance such environment.

Maize (Zea mays L.).
Agrobacterium tumefaciens-mediated transformation is an effective method for introducing genes into maize. In this chapter, we describe a detailed protocol for genetic transformation of the maize genotype Hi II. Our starting plant material is immature embryos cocultivated with an Agrobacterium strain carrying a standard binary vector. In addition to step-by-step laboratory transformation proced...
متن کاملEffect of Nutrition Management and Application of Zeolite on Fertilizer Use Efficiency and Water Productivity in Two Maize Cultivars (Zea mays L.) under Deficit Irrigation Conditions
Abstract: To investigate the effect of nutrition management along with zeolite application on the fertilizer use efficiency and irrigation water productivity of two cultivars of maize under deficit irrigation conditions, a field experiment was carried out. The experiment was conducted at Soil and Water Research Institute, Karaj, Iran, in 2015 and 2016, in the form of a factorial split plot...
متن کاملMaize (Zea Mays L.) Growth and Yield Response to Ethephon Application under Water Stress Conditions
The aim of the present investigation was to study the growth, yield and yield components of maize (Zea mays L.) single cross 704 under different levels of irrigation, plant density, and ethephon in southern Iran where this particular crop has not yet been studied in detail. A field experiment was performed in the 2004 5 growing season at the experimental farm of the College of Agriculture, Shir...
متن کاملReduced crown root number improves water acquisition under water deficit stress in maize (Zea mays L.)
In this study we test the hypothesis that maize genotypes with reduced crown root number (CN) will have greater root depth and improved water acquisition from drying soil. Maize recombinant inbred lines with contrasting CN were evaluated under water stress in greenhouse mesocosms and field rainout shelters. CN varied from 25 to 62 among genotypes. Under water stress in the mesocosms, genotypes ...
متن کاملUnderstanding yields in alley cropping maize (Zea mays L.) and Cassia siamea Lam. under semi-arid conditions in Machakos, eastern Kenya.
Six seasons of experiments in Machakos, Kenya, revealed that above about 150 mm of rainfall, maize yields per row in alley cropped "replacement" agroforestry (AF) plots, of Cassia siamea Lam. and maize (Zea mays, cv. Katumani Composite B), may be expected to exceed those in the control (sole maize) plots. Such yields were insufficient to compensate for the area "lost" to the hedgerows. Below ab...
